2013 Moose
On September 26th, Me and my dad went out looking for a moose, seen a cow, calf and bull from a long distance away but couldn't close the distance in on them. At least we knew the bulls were on the move. So the next day we went out first thing in the morning to another spot, down a line which a short hike would take us to a nice boggy area in a valley. As we started down the line towards the bog, a nice young bull moose was stood up in the line, we closed the distance to about 150 yards, he never moved an inch. I lined up on him, made a perfect lung shot, he ran for about 60 yards and dropped. Great day moose hunting with my dad! Beautiful young bull, lots of fat of him, perfect good eating bull! (A lot of Grizzly sign throughout the whole area, I'm sure the gut pile didn't make it through the night..lol)

Great memories with your Dad are priceless Sir.
Looks like that beastie will go well with a few stories, laughs and a fine mixture of beer and merlot with the Ol' Man!!!!!

Father son hunting
I can't say how much a father son hunt is worth while. It's more than just a get together to hunt.... it's one of those things that when you are reading a letter at a funeral, you will most likely mention it....... the power of the outdoors
