Auto insurance

Just got a quote from Intact yesterday on 2 vehicles.
came to $2046 for 2019 VW Tiguan and a 2015 F150.
No Tickets and 1 claim 4 years ago.
We both had our license for 40 years and continues Insurance.

House was $1567 for a 2008 build.

When I was younger (around 23-24) I went with state farm insurance. I had made some poor decisions in my years before that, so I had my license suspended for a while. I went with state farm when I moved to Alberta and my insurance was around $70 a month. Now I was driving a 2000 chevy cavalier at the time. State farm is now called Desjardins insurance, but might be worth looking into. I went with Kyle houston out of edmonton. Been with them since and have upgraded to a truck, that I have $2million liability on and I use for company purposes as well, and I'm in that $2000 per year category.

Not much you can do to change your age, but maybe they can help you out.

Ive used Intact and have for years. They always treat me great. But you do have to call them once a year when renewal comes up and go over every page they send you. Cause they sneak stuff you don't or at least I don't need and didn't ask for. Used to tick me off but i have gotten used to it and being retired its something I have time for now. I never ever pay what they initially send me at renewal time.

Like someone said on here, I don't insure anything I can pay for myself period. Good advise.
