I usually have better luck waiting until you have more than 6 inches of visibility, but has anyone been out with their fly rod yet in the Edmonton area? Anyone had any luck yet with basic streamers.... just curious with the chocolate milk we have right now if its workin for anyone yet.

Probably heading out this weekend sometime, I'll let you know how it goes.
River was completely covered today with ice moving down stream. Hardly any fishable water from Sherwood Park to Fort Sask. I searched for a couple hrs both side of river.
Fished only for an hour or so. mostly dodged icebergs. Threw some streamers into back eddies but nothing happening. Visibility about 3''. Try again later.
If anyone has some luck in and around the Edmonton area let us know. thanks.
