Yep.

It is also interesting comparing the average $ amount donated between the two campaigns.

I consider it money well spent for the family as well as a casting a vote to support the legal process.
The only good thing about the Boushie fund is that it will probably be back into economy in short order.

Great job to all who donated!

Just wondering, is there a reason we aren’t mentioning what the $200,000 is in regards to or giving a link to the site? I’m sure there are more than a few people wondering what this thread is about...

Money implies solid support, way more than a solicited signature on some meaningless petition.

I just threw another $20 at the fund. Thanks for the reminder Ken.

One week and a pay day for many, should garner a few repeat donations.

That's awesome. I'm glad to see Go Fund me didn't cave to the protests that Stanley was allowed to have a page like this.

No reason to block someone who was vindicated by a court of law and a jury. GoFundMe should however require the Boushie fundraising page edit the 'out for a drive' into what they were actually up to: 'out drinking & driving, stealing ATV 's and assaulting people". Leave their fundraiser up, just add some truth to it.

Agree 100%, when I read that line and see how many take it as truth, it makes me shudder to where were at as a society and where were going.

Not to be pushy, but all the back slapping aside. Who’s antied up more than once?

If you believe it’s so good, how about the challenge of $20 every pay day?!

Good idea, i was thinking about this. Instead of a big donation I should have split it into smaller spaced out ones.

So you are challenging $40/month since most get paid every 2 weeks?

I'm in. are we using our screen names?

It'd be nice to see the Boushie fund go in to a scholarship or some memorial for Colten. Paying it forward would be the right thing to do.

I started with anonymous, and I’ll remain that way.
I won’t post my real postal code either. I read too much about snide FB messages being sent to folks who chose to donate and use their real name.

This isn’t a pecker measuring contest, it’s about doing what you feel is right, and putting ones thoughts into action.

Take quiet pleasure in your knowing you stepped up and donated.

I haven't donated yet because I'm not sure about using credit cards online. Is it safe? Farmers with firearms said I could send a check or money order in Mr Stanley's name.

I have to stay anonymous, any slander with the career I have is very detrimental

You mean to tell me you’ve never ordered from Cabelas, Rock Auto or Amazon?

Cheques or money orders defiantly removes any and all anonimity from the transaction.

Is there a issue with how a purchase stuff? Prefer to shop local and if I need something at cabelas I'll get a family member to pick it up and I'll send money. Have no idea what Amazon or that other store you mentioned sells Wouldn't have a credit card if I didn't need it for hotel rooms. Never bounced a cheque if that's what you're getting at?

If you'd like to make a donation in my name I'll gladly send you a cheque.

I questioned, you answered.

Nothing more to it.
