imo...they weren't as excited about the goldeye size but more excited they stole the point from the konrads. Especially knowing the konrads were further north targeting trout and likely wouldn't have a chance for a bigger goldeye.

there's buzz on the MB boards that Jay/Aaron might try and drive up to Athapap (if there's time) to, and I'm quoting here, "spit on that fly-in trout"...ha ha ha. There are 45" up in Athapap (Clayton Schick has done some ice vids up there) and both Jay and Aaron know it well....but not sure they'll have time to drive up there. Still thinking they're going to hang out at Wekusko/Tramping to take Sauger, Walleye and possibly bump up the Pike point...

I think that would be complete dumb to try and steal the laker point. Don't see that happening but who knows. As they stated in the last episode it really is theirs to lose and that kind of decision would be fatal for their chances imho.

I'm rootin for the Konrads to pull it off. I don't know either at all personally but both relate the closest to dudes like me as blue collar guys with full time jobs as far as I know. If they could pull off another win that would be awesome.

I found it kinda strange how some teams are arriving to the lake an hour or more into the period "after" they stopped for breakfast OR one of the guys arriving "late" while ti other waits at the boat launch after the period has started.

Agreed, that laker is solid ..... but you never know.

Konrads are the closest team to "home" for us, so I'm rooting for them.

I am travelling again this upcoming week, so you can bet I will be watching in my hotel room on my laptop !!!

This really is a great concept, I bet it would make a pretty good regular series ......

no spoilers!

Can't wait for tonight! A bunch of us Manitobans-in-Alberta are having a viewing party. I'm probably more excited for the post-show party that they're live-streaming tonight after the final episode airs. Going to be a time!!!!!

Wooooooo hooooooooooo! Way to represent, Bison Boys! Hope the sponsors are absolutely deluged with requests for S3, so it's a no brainer for them to make it happen financially.

The after show QnA was a lot of fun too. Seemed to be at least some appetite for an Ice Fishing version. I'm gonna say a HARD NO to the suggested "Couples Edition"... Ugh.

Well that was fun congrats to team Manitoba. I hope the third season doesn't take years to come like the second season did.

I thought Eric Haatja was hilarious during the Q and A. Not hard to tell finishing last burned him a bit.

Pretty darn good show. I agree a couples version would be painful. If they complain about the editing now...
