Default Chestermere Lake - Dangerous Ice Conditions

I received this message from AO member Chadwick.

I could not get on to post. I thought your members would like to know that Chestermere lake has dangerous ice conditions. I plow a course for racing motorcycles every year and this year the ice has a layer in the middle that is not frozen. My quad went through the first layer. I drilled test holes and found 8 to 10 inches total ice with a pocket of water in the middle. I hope this helps.

Kind regards, Chadwick

I drove by today --Kids were skating and playing shinny and people were zooming around on their snow machines and quads, probably safe now
