Default Big Pike

Pulled this one out of the water yesterday,Whats your guess on the weight?
Lenght was 40 inches ,or 42 pinched tail.
I will post weight later.

I was going to say 16 due to how skinny it looked.
But I wrote this after the stated weight, lol.

Most of the pike over 5 pounds that day had red tails ,not sure why either ,maybe they are eating alot of red shirmp.

Or may be they are related to this red tail sucker as I call them !

We caught a 38 incher at wabamun earlier this year and it was 14 pounds so I would have said 16-17 pounder. Nice fish.

Not gonna speculate on the weight but remember it can only grow 10 % with each telling of the tale before it becomes a fishin story!
