Piles of them in Waiprous area. Like piles of them but not many real good ones. Easy to bow hunt because not many hunt there because you might have to haul your game a couple hundred yards from the road. Bugle every 3 minutes and cow call non stop in between as you walk through the forest and you will bump elk all day long till one comes in.

Coming home from fishing last week, I was surprised as hell to see a heard of elk south of Hwy 1 and just west of Calaway Park. I'm guessing permission would be a challenge though.

Nice contribution...why did you even post this? Mods, this post is doing nothing but insulting the OP...why is this allowed?

Yep
Exactly what I expected from you.
Guy asked a question, gets roughed up by some reasonable jokes, then another guy takes it too far, even going after his typing. I question that and you promptly insult me....hunters helping hunters
I’ve noticed you enjoy that.
By the way, learn some spelling and grammar (or typing).

Maybe it should be removed since it has nothing to do with the OP's post.

If a person can't contribute in a positive manner, then why post anything at all.

It's part of the rules posted on the message board

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=10691

The post falls under the "belitting" rule.

Pretty sure the Mod's will look into it.

AW asked for some assistance from the good folks on this forum, he is not asking for much, one would think that he at least deserves respect.

Not only for him self, but others on the forum as well.

SNS2 mentioned this many times on lots of threads.

"If you don't have anything positive to add to the OP's thread, then don't reply / post as you move along."

Pretty simple rule to follow.

Hmmm this seems like bullying right here. Maybe his grammar isn’t up to par with yours, but no need to call him out in front of everyone.

Thanks, but just two guys having a chat. Just curious do you really consider someones spelling and grammar questioned on the internet bullying or "being called out"?

Default Warning

I am leaving all this crap up here so people can see what won't be tolerated. If you have a problem with a post then report it. That is what the little red triangle is for. If you start a stupid brouhaha like this for sure you will end up infracted and/or suspended as some on this thread have. Personal insults won't be tolerated. End of story. Neither will taking public swipes at moderators. We don't live on this forum. We are volunteers and we have lives too. It took the better part of 1/2 hour for me to sort through this crap of adults acting like macho know-it-alls.

I have no idea whether or not the OP is serious or trolling. I really don't. But, even if I thought he was, I would just move on. Why some of you guys feel the need to get ignorant is beyond me, but it says something about a person when they do that.

Proceed with caution if you feel the need to be an ass-hat.

Yes'er on the bears this year in our area.
We're way North of you Albetrawild.

We spotted 2 younger Grizzlies on our way into camp the other day, a few Cat tracks further in.

They might of moved into our area since a larger boar left tracks on the upper ridges to the West of us.

Hopefully our eyes and ears are in tune for things that "could" happen pretty fast.

The small satellite heard of Cows are still hanging around. Fingers crossed if we get our timing right this year.
