Net Recommendation?

Not to brag but been catching some pretty big 'bows in a lake this month and one on Sunday just barely fit into my Streamside.

Any suggestions? Cost not an issue.

Requirements: Long handle
Wooden frame and handle so that it floats!
Rubber mesh

I'd look at one of the Fishpond models if price isn't a factor. They aren't made of wood (carbon fiber / fiberglass), but they float, are tougher than wood, have a rubber net, and look cool.

The wife bought me a Brodin Phantom for stream fishing. Long and narrow version. When I first got it I thought it was too big for stream fishing. It's not.

I also have the Brodin net, a great one that accommodates large trout. Easy to carry.

Moby if you don't mind spending the coin. I have a rubber mesh Loon model. I'd be comfortable netting fish up to the size of sockeye or small coho in it. I picked it up at Reid's Fly Shop in Edmonton.

Thanks for the info folks. I phoned Reid's and they have either the Moby Whale or Kamloops waiting for me to pick up on Friday!

Definitely a fan of the Moby nets myself, the design of their mesh allows them to handle large trout relative to the opening size.

Don Andersen’s web site is still in construction.
It’s a complete overhaul.
The learning curve is steep……and long and im getting there.
Nearly all of the site construction was provided by a great guy who retired from a tech company.
And thanx for the pointers of what needs done.
I may get to more of it today.
