Default Has anyone hunted in Mongolia recently (past 3-4 years)?

If you have hunted in Mongolia in the last couple of years and if you traveled going Eastbound with Korean airlines, I'd like to talk to you about transporting of your rifle with that carrier. Perhaps its best to send me a pm so we can keep it outside the Forum and not bore others. Thanks.

Hey Alex, I have a friend that was there pre Covid hunting
He’s in Africa right now, but I can talk to him when he gets back in a few weeks
I have 2 trips there lined up in the next couple years
I haven’t looked at airline policies yet but I imagine they just need to be notified well in advance, as a worst case scenario

Thanks Mark. Please let me know as I am getting conflicting answers from Korean airlines and Turkish airlines (my preferred airline) in this case is double the price and takes much longer.

I would fly Korean. We flew Turkish airline last September and they had absolutely worst airline food that I had EVER tried!
Plus, I’ve heard that the Korean flight attenders are HOT!!

I flew Turkish in January and I thought they were pretty good
Domestic flights were incredibly cheap

In fact I’ve found most airlines besides the North American ones to be excellent
