Since you people are having trouble phoning in to cfc , would it be better for me to fill out the paper form CAFC 681 E (2012/04/16) V3 RCMP GRC 5492 , these are the numbers on the bottom of each page
And send in by registered mail as I am thing of transferring some handguns to my daughter and maybe my son,. If I want to use them I can just borrow them any way
Some will be 12-6 some when transferred they will have 12-7 on there license I believe
I under stand the phone lines are not open on weekends is that right?

Well when Turd see that we have bought a bunch of guns he’ll throw his hands in the air, ask for our forgiveness and cancel the OIC.

I don’t think it’s a protest thing, it’s more of a get it when you can or you’ll maybe miss you chance.

I dunno... I am sort of looking at it from the viewpoint that when this all starts getting examined, it shows that it is everyday people who are buying them up in record numbers and that there is actually a large portion of the legit population who are enthusiasts and not criminals. Might cause some to re-think the BS they are being told.

I know that I am surprised how many people I never even realized were shooters are coming out of the woodwork and talking about it.

I hope it can be a positive in the end.

Well that is true TB, I have many non gun people asking questions about it all. It’s a big deal to hear that hand guns are no longer allowed in Canada, but once I explain what the existing laws are regarding hand guns, they usually think the restrictions are good as is.

The evening of the announcement I was on night shift and the websites of several gun stores went down. I did manage to get a Girsan in fde, and another CZ Sp01. The liberals can take a hike. It took about 7 days for my transfer to get completed. Buy what you can while you can.

these aren't everyday people.
none of them have criminal records
none of them have serious mental issues
none of them have a domestic violence record.
none of them have a substance abuse history
all of them needed a character witness approval

they are among the most trustworthy people in society...and they are losing their property through attrition and confiscation.

After calling for about 3 days (combined time) in the last two weeks, I finally got though, waited on the phone for 47 minutes (including transfer time), but I finally got through!
