Default Lower Cardinal access

Hey guys, looking to do a trout highway trip this August and I'm curious as to what the access of the Lower Cardinal is like. I know the upper is blocked by a big washout that's impassable except to atv or bike coming from grave Flats cadomin side. Any help would mucho apreciato! Thanks fellow anglers!

Not sure if you can hike up the landslide to get to the "lake" it created. Has anyone ever done this?

Yes. And there is no lake anymore. Water finds a way. You will be in solitude if you hike up there. Nice scenery. But be prepared for a hard hike and mediocre fishing. Still worth it at least once imho just for the experience.
