Undersubscribed tags

I am not expecting to get my elk tags where I applied this year. If I purchased a tag from the undersubscribed list will that reset the priority I have been building?

The only way to lose your priority points is to DRAW a tag.

Or the RELM site screws up and wipes out 10 years of priority on a particular tag and refuses to acknowledge the error.

You’re probably right cause it says sales start July 14 9 am but you can’t buy them yet or I can’t find the way too lol

Bingo…under key dates on Alberta Relm. As of today you can see what’s available but you can’t buy them until Aug 1st at 9:00am. The site usually crashes around 9:05 the same day they are available for purchase.

It says "information" available July 14. License available August 1.

Unless your name is Positrac or 270 p. We get to buy early.

Hi Everybody.

I'm hesitant to ask this question due to negative comments I may receive but here it goes.

I think I the answer is no, but I can't find verification in the regulation.

If you hold a draw license for Antlerless Elk, you CAN'T buy an undersubscribed license. Correct because you can't hold two licenses for the same species.

Fur and Feathers count on a certain amount of tags being filled each year. So if you have a proven track record for filling tags they let you buy them a few days early….

I think its changed to YES you can. Alongside a general antlered tag for sure.

Positrac and I are allowed to buy 3. See his explanation for why above.

You can only hunt in Kuiu gear and shoot rifles without muzzle brakes. If you can't meet these qualifiers you must buy ladies tags and can only shoot fawns with milk on their lips.
