At the post office, which is better, registered or xpress. Clerk claims that they are not seeking signatures on the recipients end, and that they would have to go to the post office and pick up, to obtain a signature. Ok, so what am I paying for?
Just had a spam call saying a package delivery was attempted twice and failed to get a signature. so follow this link.
I'm going to start hand delivering my mail.

Used to work for the PO at one time. All mail, letters and parcels go on the same truck. Higher priced items, express and first class mail are loaded last so they are unloaded first. I've had parcel post get to destinations before express, and have received them that way too. If you need tracking or a signature then you have no choice. But it all travels together down the road.

We use Xpresspost for all of our mail order deliveries and have never had a problem. Many times we notice that the difference between Expedited vs Xpresspost vs Regular is only a few cents depending where the package is going. The estimated delivery is usually the same or very close too.

It should be noted that Expedited and Xpresspost get Liability coverage (Free up to $100)
