Waterfowl Guides and Scouts
Every year its a daunting challenge to find experienced guides and scouts. More so now because of the fall out of Covid. I think we (the outfitting industry) pay a fair wage. For about a 10 hour day you get $30+ per hour, tips, accommodation, food and gas. I think you have to be working remote in the oil/gas industry to do better. Certainly the life isn't for everyone. It is hard work and you have to have a number of skills in hunting and dealing with people. And of course its seasonal and finding people who can take the time off or have other circumstances that permit them to take on a seasonal position is a challenge. Bottom line I'm looking for both guides and scouts so if you have an interest please PM me.
