Thumbs up Fraser river sturgeon fishing

Hey we'll after an amazing spring/summer here at home in Edmonton on the ol mighty NSR for sturgeon we have fallen victim to the addiction. Anyway we are heade to the Fraser river for sturgeon on the 20-25 with lens sport fishing and we will be staying at Cultas lake PP. Anyone ever stay there or use Lens sport fishing for their guide. Anyhow were pumped as we've never fished b.c ever but fish all over Alberta.

I have stayed at Cultus Lake and had a grand ole time, yet it is too busy for my liking these days or at least it was... I hope you have a great time, enjoy your sturgeon adventure!

I have. The guide was Greg Wolf who works with and I believe taking over the company from Len.I can't praise him enough.....we averaged 22 sturgeon each for 3 guys over a 4 day period. We also went salmon fishing one day up the Harrison River, one of the most memorable days of my life!!!! The gear was perfect, Greg will answer all your questions and had great lunches for us.
you will have a great time

I grew up fishing with Greg Wolf and Ed Trainer. (Not sure if they are still in cahoots). Greg is one of the most talented fishermen I have ever fished with. You will have an amazing trip.

Just watched Fishing Thinking. Charlie Wray was fishing on the Fraser river with Len. Looks awesome, I'm definitely going there next year.

I been going for 6 years now. You better start a Sturgeon trip fund cause after the first trip you are going every year. A 7 foot sturgeon that clears the water nothing on the N. Sask will prepare u for this. PRICELESS !! Follow up with stop for fresh berries at farmer's market, drive thru corn shacks and end day at Cultus waterpark everyone will have a trip of a lifetime. We always go in September (odd years pink run ) and in Oct (even years chum salmon ) the larger # of big sturgeon follow the runs. July/August ave 4-6 per boat per day. Sept/Oct 10 to best 24 in one day per boat. Keep an arm on your son anything over 5 foot is gonna pull him around or out of the boat.
ENJOY YOUR TRIP BUT THE YEAR WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE IS A KILLER !!!
