Default lac st anne monday

so on sunday i fished the nsr for first time this year. cloudy water and treacherous bank and i got skunked. Fellow ao member was tormenting me with pics of all the fish he and girlfriend were catching at Anne.
Monday i headed down to his spot on lac st anne. beautifull sunny day (a little windy), and 16" of solid black ice. first line in at 4 pm and by 7:30 i had caught 42 pike and 3 wall eye! could not get line down to bottom (12') before getting a hit. my buddy joined me at 5:30 and proceeded to catch about 15 himself, including some more wallies. fish were healthy, fat and fiesty. no monsters (biggest pike 28", wallie 20") but damn, that was fun. also found an i phone on the ice.
thanks to YEE-HAW for showing me one of his secret sweet spots.

Wow ! You just gave your honey hole location away. Everyone will be at the thin spot.

Great post Ninja, nice pics. I might try for my tags there this year.

Guessing you know where the springs are? I only found them this summer with the temperature reading on the sonar.
