Greys are a UK company. They were independant, operating out of Alnwick in Northumberland. They are now owned by Hardys the other better known Alnwick tackle maker.

Greys are probably best described as Hardys budget label . I would suspect that most of their equipment is made off-shore and not in UK.

My son has a Greys fly reel which is ok. I did try a 9ft 7wt fly rod and it seemed to load well and I was happy enough with the action overall

I am not sure about their spinning equipment, but I would say it is ok based on the limited amount of exposure I have had to Greys equipment.
