Default Found a hot spot for perch today.

OK I never even left the yard today, but I was wondering......

Are there perch in the South Saskatchewan. I never heard of anyone catching them. Matter of fact I only ever hear of perch being caught in lakes. What's up with that?

Default Kanakaskis Country fishing, Nakiska Lodge

Wife has a meeting at Nakiska next weekend. Kids want to ski. I have a bad knee and won't go skiing for fear of finishing off the ACL.

Is there any ice fishing in the area lakes? I am assuming stocked trout is what to expect.

No experience with K Country, look forward to any help and guidance.

There is perch above the weir in Lethbridge. I have seen small schools along the shoreline of the Oldman and also on some of the tributary waters of the Oldman.
