Default Lac ste Anne algae bloom conditions

Hey guys, wanted to see if anyone been out there fishing and how the algae conditions? Want to fill some tags if it's safe to keep and eat for the family? Thx

Been out a few times in the last week and it's getting clearer. The weeds are really bad, but no signs of the blue/green clumps anymore.
Fishing has been slow though. Walleye that were caught were all 53cm+ .

We filled a bunch of tags 3 weeks ago near Ross haven. Had a couple awesome meals.

Algae was almost non existent. The algae was not nearly as bad this year as in past years. If you stay to the west half of the lake the conditions were just fine. The wind usually keeps the worst of it towards Alberta beach anyways
