Had a great night on the Battle River last night. Caught about 15 nice sized walleye, and 3 pike. First couple were on minnows, then I changed to a 4" chartreuse Gulp Minnow, and it was on. They were smashing thing. Even the smaller ones were gobbling it right down.
Awesome job! How far up the river are you? I am right by the sask border and I have still not caught a fish in the battle yet. Although I only go out for a couple hours on shore with my 4 year old. We don't catch fish and he gets bored so we leave early. Seems shallow at the border.
