Default 20.9 LBS Pike

I got this Pike today from lake X. It was 43 inches long. Not to much of a story, just an awesome day of fishing!!!

good fish. lake X? why? i really don't get it. it's a pike. you're on one of the countless lakes in alberta (we think) that hold many, many northerns that big. whats the big secret? not much of a story i guess. thanks for the photos.

Why lake X ? It is because to many BITCHERS on this forum whining about sharing their honey holes and lost fishing spots!! And for the place I was fishing was Sylvan RR#23 . 21 FOW and I have been catching these pigs for three days now . Lots of fish their now but you have to work for them

The pike in sylvan always seem to be pretty tight lipped, but at least theres some big fish swimming around.

sylvan is a big pond Hammer. no reason for anyone to whine about that. no secret pike live in that lake. keep slaying em! best hardwater time is still ahead of us.

Secret fish... What about "Molly"?...

Great fish buddy! Did you keep her or put her back?

I just wanna apologize for this, I realize you may actually be curious, and not looking to hate on another forum member like many others on here do! I shouldn't jump to conclusions so fast! Sorry for the assumption Tyangelo!

Now I have a picture to show my buddy what a 20 lber ACTUALLY looks like. According to him every sizable fish we pull out of the hole is 20 lbs. Definitely beats my "20 lber" yesterday that weighed in at 13 lbs on the scale.

No Worries Mofugger. I was simply curious. Would have said nice things either way. If a big fish gets put back, congratulations is in order for keeping big spawning fish alive.

If a big fish is harvested, congratulations is in order for the wicked dinner at stake.

If THREE 20lb+ fish were to be harvested by the same guy on the same day, then I'd start to lose some respect...heh.
