Lots of us are jealous - I'm another one . Sure wish I lived decently close to waters that held those type of perch. Sigh.

That is encouraging. I thought you lived a couple hours north-west of Edmonton and were fishing the good lakes in that area. I was wrong.

Those are some nice size perch.
Not sure what lake thats at but ive tried Mayatan lake just west of Edmonton a couple times but no luck

Mayatan, Mink and the other one close to there had bad winter kill this year snow took to long melting. I did get some decent Perch there this spring but havent been there since.

A 3-4 pounder is always quite a prize. My pops always said: "There's no fish bigger than a big perch".
