Default Lac La Biche !

Hey guys ,tomarow I'm heading out to lac la Biche , does anyone have any fishing reports for the lake ? Last year it was fish every cast and I'm wondering how it is this year ?

Fished the bay in town and trolled around a few weeks ago.... Couldnt go a few minutes without a pike...(some decent ones too...)

Hey guys , just got back , WHAT A WEEK , I caught 187 fish , the biggest jack being 27 pounds and a 18 pound walleye which where released.

I saw a person pull out some even bigger ones there , the walleye where going crazy over there

Not to question you bud and just a curiosity. Have you calibrated your scale?

Haha I'm glad you asked , it was weighed by an calibrated electronic scale , and a old fashioned spring scale

How many smaller pike did you catch might I ask?

Wow! nice fish! That's so cool that you caught a potential record breaking walleye. Just goes to show how many record breaking fish are caught and released each year, and then afterwards you realize it was a record. lol
If you got a picture with the weight, or even with the length, and you had a witness, you might be able to register it for a record still, not to sure the rules on it....

Ahaha we caught alot of small pike to ! The smallest being a pound , our average pike was 7 ish pounds

Alberta walleye record is 15.50 lbs, if you did indeed land an 18lber you absolutley destroyed the Alberta record. Congrats! Knowing or not knowing that is a record fish you would know a fish like that is definitely beyond picture worthy!! I would love to see the pic!

Great for posting pics. Not to discredit you but that pike isnt 27 nor is that pickeral just shy of 10. I was at llb this past weekend and we caught 40 walleye. Average was 4lbs largest shy of 6. Unreal fishery. Glad you slayed them.

Well two scales said it was , one just a natural spring scale . It was fat
