About 800 perch...everyone that wanted some took a good feed. Lots of bigger perch once again.

Nice evening all round. Had a lot of AOF folks out. Nice seeing kids having fun also!

I would describe you as "Husky". But then again I'm not all that Dainty myself so I need to find ways to describe myself that are as flattering as possible! LOL! I like to keep some "Back Up" or "Reserve" pounds just in case I get sick. I wouldn't want to waste away to nothing overnight!

BTW. There is no way that a grown man wearing a "jean string" could improve ANYBODY'S image. LOL!

if you have ever seen the Simpsons episode of whacking snakes, this was very similar to the fun the kids had last night

Ya. I did half mine, warmed up the pan and fried them up. Went down like candy between me, the gf and her sister. I was going to do the rest and cook them for lunch but after the cooking, we were sitting at the table chatting and all the perch nuggets dissapeared........

Good to meet another group of AOF members and thanks again to sundance and badback for hosting. I would like to say the scenery was as good as the perch....... but sundance kind of tainted that for us all........

Filleting only took about an hour but it was nice to have some sizable perch to get some meat off of.

Saturday would be easier for us.
Its a long trip through rush hour traffic.
Plus then you wouldn't be so rushed to pull nets and get everything done.

Just my 2cents

OK "Chubby" Time to introduce Mr. Legs to Mr. Sunshine.

Didn't we discuss the whole cut off jeans thing earlier?

Thanks for the great time on the water yesterday. I felt like a kid again watching the fish in the water like when the fish truck would come to town, and people would take them home to stock their ponds! Great times!

I'll try my hardest to make it again this weekend.

Default Perching

Hey:

Been looking high and low for this type of fishery (virtually unrestricted and by that I mean no limits) and am wondering if I could take part? Would like to fish hook and line if possible and maybe with a guest or two?

From the Coast and missing food fish. Could handle as many as you could give away and would really appreciate the opportunity...I enjoy herd fishing.
