Default Perch Video from Saturday

It was a dark overcast day and as a result the video was done in black and white. It's my first whack at this so the editing is not great. We managed to get several nice perch and had a great day.

Great video, totally jealous. It was cool when the perch disappeared, because of the Jack.

Not sure what caused it, but it sure made the others scatter ......... almost as much as the jack LOL Maybe when it was released, and couldn't get out of there fast enough ?

That was really strange, never seen anything like it. Must of just booted straight down from the hole. It probably didn't help that it was in just 5' of water.

great video...although that first hook set was a tad slow

Cool...once they bit....they held on for a long time. What hook were you using?

My buddy was using the camera and he must of being looking somewhere else when that fish hit. I think he was using a 1/32 Jim's jig tipped with maggots but I'm not certain.

There is a wide variety of sizes from 9"-13"+. The lake actually is not that clear it is very stained.

Nice videos and super perch. Love how those big ones move - they undulate and ripple (like the ones at 0:45, 1:30, 2:45, etc ...) due their mass. They are totally different than little stick perch.

I downloaded the video as MP4 1080P and am able to watch it with the VLC player. It's such good quality I'm going to study it to learn perch behavior. Thanks a lot for making and posting it!
