Default morinville trout pond

Going out with a buddy and some kids tomorrow. How is the pond fishing? Going to the one to the west of the highway.
Can you see anything down the holes? We have tents. What's the visibility like? I know they want to see fish on my tv. Targeting perch but a trout won't hurt either. I know we can't keep perch there, but the kids will want to go fishing again if they catch 20 fish.

Thanks in advance

Default Nakamun

you may have better luck driving a touch further north to Nakamun. been some decent reports of a lot of little perch being caught. might be a better bet to keep the kids interested. access sounds good. check out this thread.

DONT DRIVE ON THE ICE . That will get you a ticket from the lovely town clown of Morinville .

Use tobogins or those type of pull sleds to get your gear on the ice .

You can use your under water camera , best bet is very tiny Micro gear . And you wont be able to keep them off your hooks . You should be able to see down your hole if your in a tent . I havent fished here since last spring . But its fun ive caught some alright trout outta there .
