Default Nakamun lake

Has anyone fished Nakamun lake lately. I heard it good perch fishing there by Nakamun park. Does anyone know the exact directions? And do you need a 4 by 4 or can I make it there by car.

I was there last weekend with my nephew. Many small perch. Google it for map. There are some fairly packed down tracks but you might be digging with a car . There is parking so you could walk out as well. Quite a few people fishing 200-300 yards from shore.

Haven't fished there for about 10 years. Used to catch a lot of 10-12" perch there. We had a sweet spot in around 12-15' of water between the island and scouts camp. I had heard the water level was down quite a bit, is this true?

I have a cabin at Nakamun and yes the water is down a lot. From 10yrs ago i'd say a good 5ft. Perch was good in the summer. Haven't had time to icefish this winter so i couldn't tell you.

As was said before google map the directions. Number of ways to get there depending where you're coming from.

yeah I am new to ice fishing. This is the 1st year I tried it. Went out to pigeon today and caught nothing. No one else was catching anything. Know of any other good lakes that are within 100-150km from Spruce Grove?

You're 30 minutes from a gem my good man. Head to Wabamun.

A: Because the fish are awake. Get in the car.
