Default Mossberg 4x4

I just saw this gun today, and think it looks pretty nice, what do you guys think about how it looks?

I think they are probably one of the worst looking guns out there but that should not matter to you. If you like the looks and the way it feels thats all thats important. If your wanting to impress your hunting buddies buy a Sako but whatever gun feels best in your hands thats the one you buy.

I think its the ugliest rifle made, however, that's my opinion and isn't a reflection of how it might function.

i just picked one up a few weeks ago in 25-06
was lookin for a 243 or 25 with a 24inch barrel and that was the only one they had on the rack for under 500 bucks with thet legth of pipe.
i ran the first 50 rounds of threw it with 36 grains imr 4064 ,LR primer win cases. i just shot at 1 dot and it did about 2 1/2 to 3 inches ...
i will now work up a load for it.
I think u get what u pay for the trigger is crude,,the rifling is not the smoothest ..magazine release is easy enough drops out nice ..but it is plastic so we will see how this holds up. And the sling mounts r moulded into the stock ,,possible chance of tearin out ur sling if u get hung up .
over all its a nice lite gun,,points ok for me.

The Encore Pro Hunter has these. After you break them a minute with a file and a drill bit and a new sling stud and you are away.

Reminds me of an uglier wood version of the Ruger canoe paddle.

How humiliating would it be for a deer to get shot by one of these.

Think of the ammo you can save just show the deer or what ever the gun and it will die of fright.

On that note the Rem 710 should be able to kill on site as well.

the one i had ordered and bought, got mixed up on the calibre i had wanted, but bought it anyways, took this thing to the range, and it was fine handling, felt like crap, grouped bullets that made me want to slit my wrists, but who knows if i tried different ammo?

She already sold and i wont buy another 4X4
