Default Ice off last year

Hey everyone,

It feels like a reasonable day to ask with the snow pounding down in the edmonton area.

Does anyone remember when the ice came off in the Edmonton area last year?

Not complete ice off, but enough to make some casts, I have been out of country the last two springs.

Thanks

When I drive on the way home from town, I usually dirve by two big ponds. Last year, I dont think the ice was fully off of them until mid or late April.

I went to Dollberg last year I believe it was around April 10th and that day lake broke ice free. Lakes closer to Edmonton might have been a few days after that.

This year will be another story I am afraid.. Expect up to a month longer
