Default whitefish today

Between 2 of us we got 6, I only got 2 lol. Wire worms got most of the fish, I had on an orange one. If you miss them the first time with the wire worm they always seem to hit it again which is kind of nice.

Nice Catch! Those are some awesome looking whites. Congrats. If you fry those whites in pancake batter, they taste awesome IMO.

BTW do you leave the wire worm still or do jig it. If you jig the wireworm how do you jig it. I have gone to many lakes and just see the whitefish swim by my wireworm uninterested.

A fish cop threatened to charge me with chumming if I kept wearing that coat. I guess some guy named mike phoned me in!

I bounce the rod tip in one spot, then jig it up and down a few inches.

Some close earlier! Check the regs before you go out!
