Ontario trip

So got back 2 weeks ago from a drive through Ontario, We drove from Guelph all the way back to calgary. Picked up a friends 87 VW van and drove it all the way.

Some GREAT fishing on the way back. Ill have more pictures to come, but there were many of these caught. I think this was my best but my coworker thinks its my second best.
ill have to sort through some pictures.

im headed to niagara in two weeks i cant wait im tryin to camp out at lake of the woods what kinda tackle should i bring and wherabouts did you find good fishing

First off thanks for the congrats, will post more pics later!


Niagra was tough fishing for us, we didn't spend alot of time there. but fishergirl clearly did well!

As far as lake of the woods goes. anywhere! that bass was caught right under the bridge on the hiway in the town of sioux narrows.
We fished a fair bit of shore in and around sioux narrows with really good success. There is structure everywhere.

As far as lures go. i was fishing soft plastics most of the time. carolina riggerd worms worked for me.
A firetiger clacking rap was the ticket for my buddy. All he used.

Top water frogs worked great in the lillypads, but i caught more pike than bass! still a blast, i lvoe top water.
