This is coming from an old Ukrainian who loves slabbin a limit. Kids can be taught whatever dad wants to teach them. If it’s the catch that’s important or the keep. Whatever you want to emphasize.

I know that there are people out there that just put kids in the boat to up their limit but there are also kids that will walk to a dock to catch a fish or two to bring back and eat...there will always be those that take advantage of regs etc and that is sad....

Default This is getting ridiculous

Let kids spend their money on rods, tackle and bait. Let them keep their fish (according to regs). Same with seniors. Big picture they will be purchasing licenses for just shy of 50 years so give people a break on either end. If the lake can’t handle slight addition of fishing pressure there are bigger issues with the regs. If you are worried about the money add a buck to the cost of the license.

I would like under 16 and over 65 still need a license but free. I run into the under 16 crowd on the river lots and my parents friends are all in the over 65 crowd. They have no idea about the regs. At least with them being licensed they can get the book and educated about the rules.

No lack of issues regarding not reading the regs with those who buy a license too. I think somedays a mandatory fishing course like they do in some part of Europe would be good.

I think free licenses for kids under 16 would be good. Let’s remember that we want increased participation in our sport.

Ya, I guess $30.00 is to much to ask of a mother or father for their kids and of

seniors. Guess the money is better spent on a couple movies or McD meals.

Or a video game.

Why in the heck does everything need to cost money or be taxed? Just leave it alone ffs.

Enjoy the easy ride, anti hunters. Strange to me why we seem to be doing your job for you.

Excuse me while I go puke.

I was brought up by a single Mom. There was no money. I didn't fish with my parents, I fished with a couple other kids who enjoyed fishing. We hitch hiked to creeks around the area. Parents are not necessary to enjoy fishing. Licenses and money is not the solution. Fixing greed is the solution.

I'd pick up a hitch hiker carrying a fishing rod anytime.

Why don't you toss money in the fire and say it's for some cause or other

I'm not a kid anymore, I'm an evil senior who should by any account here, be feeling guilty of not having to purchase a license.

Man I enjoyed dinner just now! Beer battered jackfish and fries that could compete with the best.
