Default Strubel Lake Ice

We went to Strubel Sunday and walked to the North end. The only people that were driving on the ice were on the South end. There was flood ice from about half way up the lake to the North end. When we drilled our holes the ice was VERY mushy (19 inches) and no real hard blue ice at all. Just a heads up I would definately not recommend driving at all on Strubel for now.

Heck of a good lake to take kids!

Default Springs

Watch out for the springs also. Seen the ice go from almost two feet to six inches real quick. Just off the boat launch by the grass banks be careful in vechicles.
