Default Hey

Just wanted to make a statement about a post I replied to earlier this
week.

Near as I can tell the posting was removed.

I come to here to read about life in AB, I'm not from around here,
but you all have many things in common with my life.

I posted a reply to a post ask about adding an AB YouTube video
post.

I strongly dissagreed and over steped my bounds, I'm not from AB.

But the reason I come to this web site is because I like to read and
occasunally reply as in a 2 way conversation.

That's how it works now, people post some agree and some don't.
It goes back and forth, it's a conversation, not a one way leacure.

Sorry if I went off on a tangent about it.
Hope you all know what I really want is to keep the BS from coming in.

It's up to you all to let what ever happens to this web site as you see
it.

Just had to put in my 2 cent.

Where are you from, just curious, its always nice when people fill out their info so it shows up. Cool to see where the opinions come form.

You are correct. You did over step your bounds.. AO Youtubers was a valid post. That you harassed me into asking for it to be closed. AO Alberta Outdoorsmen YouTube video posters was a valid topic in the General Section. I was looking to talk with other members that posted videos and by emailing me and making no sense on my post I decided it just wasn't worth the fight.

Using the same logic you used against me.. This is NOT a post about Outdoors, hunting or fishing.. or about Alberta.. and should not be on here.

My 2 cents.. from and Actual Albertan..

I think you are right. I think he is from Montana, which I think is a point in his favor!

Thick skinned....move on...no apologies needed. Around here wait 5 minutes then its off to another squabble but that's what makes this interesting, all the opinions and guess what sometimes you see things different after the dust settles!

Note to self from self of said self.

YouTube fat videos) have been found on this site for
a long time know, like 2 or 3 years gone by.
And I'm cool with that. No problem here with doing this.

We all can click on them and go there or NOT if we choose.

I would like to keep it this the way it has been with the option to ether
click or not to click to see the YouTuBe link.

I do not want to click on the General Section of this web
site and be overwhelmed with pop up addvertising and spam.
I do not want to have to wait for 45 minutes of on line time to
go by seeing ads for Viagra and simular fungus just to try to get to my AO online.

I think many others feel the same.

YouTube links OK.
YouTube AO General Forum... NO!

2 way conversations is what this site provides as it is.
1 way conversations is Hollywood.

We don't need any Hollywood, we gots lots to go around.

Sounds like you could benefit from some computer help.. maybe using adblock and Chrome or firefox, for starters. None of the 'problems' you are describing have anything to do with youtube links or anything else on AO...

I would love to read you, winch and fishgunner have a conversation on AO.

Edit. Upon further in depth research I think you are of the understanding that cold wanted to create a "Youtube links" part of the alberta outdoorsmen forum. Is this correct?

I *think* I saw the original thread that got turfed and if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure he just wanted AO YouTubers to post up some of their vids in a thread

This was how I interpreted his original thread as well.

Agreed ^ ... if he's from Montana, he can't be all that bad!

Like many of us here, he'll probably improve with time.
