Default Long Lake update

Fished on the north end of the lake. Ice was about 18" and there was only one other track driving out. Set up and caught five 5" perch in 3 hours and numerous smaller pike. The perch I did catch bit hard when they did but when I dropped the camera down to have a look it was pike all over the place. In one rotation of the camera I could see 6 of them hanging around, no wonder the perch are almost non-existant. Might have to try a different spot on the lake, maybe south end.

Tough lake to get big ones in the winter. You have to work for them.

Walleye are starting to take it over. Soon you won't be able to catch a perch there.
