Default Trick or Treater Count

Wondering how many kids will drop by this year compared to last. So far we are sitting at 0 in NW Calgary.

We live in a small town and in the past 8yrs we’ve had a total of 5 kids. This year we’ve already had 40. Been pretty quiet the last hour. Probably going to shut ‘er down around 8pm.

They were having a tail gate or trunk party at the community centre. You bring a bunch of treats and your kids and go from car to car
I also saw some parents having a party for little kids at Baker Park.
It is good to see parents trying different things other than going from door to door

No kids but an impromptu gathering with 3 neighbors who saw the roaring blaze from my Chimenea and popped by to say Hi
Spent more than if I had 50 kids.
25 beer
1 bottle of Vilmos
4 coils of Farmers Sausage
2 lbs Jerky
And plans for next year

About 30 kids, same as last year.

What was cool was the neighbours down the street had a bonfire on the driveway.

We had 83. Last year was 66. WTF?
My kids are now way past Halloween age but if they were there is no way I would have let them go out this year.
