Default Fish Deboning tool

Anyone use one of the electric deboning tools?

Saw this one on youtube and thought it looked like it works really well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flF7JEJCr6k

Could come in handy for removing whitefish bones for the smoker and the Y bones in pike.

Anyone ever try one or anything similar?

Thanks

I think that would be great on Salmon and Lakers, not so sure it would work that great on Whites and Pike. I may have to get me one of those though and try it out.

Thanks for sharing.

It may work for whites, but pretty sure you will only get half of the Y bones out of a pike 4" fillet knife seems to work the best, but you never know until you try, good luck

That looks like a hand held version of the "boning wheel" found on a fish processing boat - that thing is freaking cool.

Does it come in a cordless version? Do you know the name of it ? X-mass is coming ........... I'm getting the wife one along with cool a new St.Croix fishing rod.

She doesn't fish or clean fish so I will make sure her gifts are well utilized.

They are made in Sweden and sold in N America through Leiter Corp. but on their web I can find nothing indicating the deboner. Only hughe commercial ones.

So, I am still fishing, let ya know what if anything I catch.
