Default martin threshold opinions

hey, just purchased my first bow (from ebay)...i have no experience bow hunting or shooting but i really want to learn...i purchased a 2011 martin threshold from ebay and im currently waiting for delivery...i couldn't really afford to drop $600 plus on a bow...i just would like to know if you guys think this is a good bow for a begginer and if so what upgrades would you recomend ? not planning on hunting with it until spring or fall of next year so i have lots of time to practice..

not many Martin's in Alberta. shoot it alot and tell us how good it is or isn't.
go to a local pro shop and ask them to set you up with the right arrows and anything eles you might need.
I wish you lots of luck with your first bow kill. welcome to the addiction.
