Yup. I had considered putting in everything for the May auction because that is supposed to be the big one this year but I'll put what I have in this one. I bagged 20 last night and I'll be in the shed all day/night to put up the rest that I have on hand. Anything that I catch after today will go in the next auction. If I don't have anything in the first auction I'll feel like the only kid that didn't get a present on Christmas morning......lol.

You guys down south have some really nice looking coyotes. The ones around here are Brn, Dk-Brn, etc. I get pretty excited when I occasionally catch a nice pale one like the ones in your pictures.

Dropped coyotes off today at Martys and I believe there were only 4 boxes so far . I like the first sale too , would be hard watching a Feb sale with none of my stuff in it . We get our fair share of browns as well , they look lighter colored to me but whatever . The pale ones really do stick out .

Maybe they will surprise us like they did a couple of years ago and extend the last receiving date for a couple of weeks. They cleared everything out last season with their firesale (lol) so if there aren't enough pelts to meet the expected demand, I could imagine that happening.

Anyone else catching lots of ginger coloured coyotes this year? Seems to be a lot in the area we snare with no black hair to speak of.

Things have been picking up last few days. Picked up ten tonight. Hope this warm weather dose not Mess things up. Have a cupel wolfs circling one of my baits really hoping to get one in the next week. Any one picking up many foxes I've only got one all year. Would really like to get a cupel more.

Been fairly slow last few checks. 36 coyote I think and 9 fox. Fox numbers are way up from last year this time.
