Fishing is hot, regular fishing, bundle up the kids, have fun.

I've been there this summer nearby the boat docking spot.

Had lot of soft bites, ended up catching 2 finger sized minnows (couldn't tell the species bc they were tiny)

Used pickerel rigs with worm and shrimp.
What rig did you use if I may ask?

weight, number 14 snelled hook 24 inches above weight, yellow atlas mikes sierra gold yellow power bait or velveeta cheese or corn. cast max 40 feet out, let sink, click bail, tighten line, put in rod holder and watch.

I went at the end of September. Used power bait. Didn't even get a bite

I always bring a variety of bait....Worms, cheese, corn, shrimp and always have powerbait in my box.
