Default Pike Fishing Rocky Mountain House Area

I am going to be in the Rocky Mountain House area and my son wants to go pike fishing. I was thinking about Brazeau Canals or Jackfish lake. I found an old thread that says there was winter kill at Jackfish lake in 2016. Did they ever find out how bad it was?
How is the fishing this year?

Any other recommendations for Pike Fishing in that area, I don't want to go to Cow lake.

Are. You only wanting to fish lakes? Lobs tick Creek East of Rocky use to have lots of Pike. Medicine River use to also be good for catching lots of pike. Mother NSR has pike but tough to fish from shore.
