Default 440 for sheep?

Anyone hunt sheep in the 440 area?? i heard there is good spots in there but not sure where to go...

Rams are where you find them. There are areas that they prefer, and there are a couple of ways to find that out. You can scout and hunt them spending alot of time and money, or you could convince someone to post the info on the internet. Sheep hunters are a pretty tight lipped bunch it seems. I've even known some to give blatant misleading information. I did, though, see a Ram in 440 once.............. I think.

WMU440 and the Willmore in general are without question some of the best sheep country we have in the province. If you are willing to throw a pack on your back and head in for a couple days, you will find sheep. The main trailhead is at Rock Lake.
