I live in the city. I hunt, fish, camp, photgraph, hike & boat all over the province. I agree, it is a tough sell for people that are unfortunately ignorant. However look at all those wanna be "farmers" that buy a quarter or a 2-40 acre acreage and don't allow access to hunt because they " Love watching those beautiful creatures off their porch or breakfast table window each day".
There are just as many rural dwelling tree huggers & ignoramus's outside in the county as there are in the city!
Come on, snap out of it. It is ourselves, the province and country itself that has to provide more effective ways to educate the public as a whole about the importance of hunting/fishing for conservation purposes.

I just recently bought a house in Calgary after living in the country for the last ten years and agree with you about the acreage lot but there are far more people living in urban centers that are oposed to our way of thinking.Not trying to rock the boat, i'm on your team here!! Just was stating that posting these types of pics on facebook wiil get a rise from some. be proud of what you do but don't be upset if you have to defend it!!
