The ice went out of Wizard lake Thursday. Some dumb ones were fishing on Saturday.

Yep....seen them Sunday as well....I educated them.as to their error....they took off pretty quick.

Work took me down 43 today, from the highway at Ross Haven I seen Ice on Lac St Anne but it looked pretty rotten.

I was wondering if anyone knows if South Buck Lake is starting to open up yet?

Default Lower chain lakes by Athabasca

Has anyone been to Chain Lakes by Athabasca, any ice left on there? Thanks for any info. Hoping to go out there maybe next week.

The ice was pretty much all gone yesterday (Wednesday). There was a very small amount of ice on the east end just off the south shore (wind from NE yesterday).

Good to go as far as I am concerned. I got most of my pier in last night and even went for a little sea doo ride.

Great update!! I'll be cruising around out there all long weekend with the family! Now for the weather to hold......lol....or not...Im gonna be on the water regardless

Been boatless for 2 years....cant wait to get back

Not directly but on the news today is showed a pic from the other day where these was about 10-15 feet or more of open water. I would say another week it should have caught up to Wab. If I head by the way on the weekend, I'll send a real update.

Ice starting to break up on Slave and Cold now. Should be open water pretty much everywhere by the long weekend except some of the mountain lakes that normally aren't ice free.

the ice is off of pigeon lake with the winds help , only some ice bergs floating around
