Default Recommendations to take my daughter fishing tomorrow

Hello all.
Any recommendations on places about a hour of Calgary to take my daughter fishing on Sunday. Doesn’t matter what it’s for or sizes. Just as long as there is a little bit of action to keep her interested.

Thanks.

I was thinking maybe chain Lakes or pine Cooley reservoir. We will be casting from the shore. Any place biting better than others right now?

Sounds like pine coulee has slowed down. I heard they are fishing all the walleye out to make room for rainbows. This is just from reading post on here. I have never actually fished it before so I can’t say for sure. Just a heads up though. Glenmore reservoir or chestermere have lots of small pike. Personally I would choose chain lakes because it’s out of the city and it’s trout which I very much enjoy. plus you can take home some dinner.

That sucks. Maybe drive a little further to get away from the crowds. Try the Enchant pond for perch and trout. Never heard of anyone getting skunked there.
