Default Pick a lake... Any lake

Trying to figure out where to go on a 5 day wall tent/skidoo ice fishing trip. Normally we go to peerless. But we want to try out somewhere new. Thinking margret or Namur lake. Looking for Any and all suggestions.

Thanks!

Blackette, kinard, or Jackson...camp on one and fish all 3...you also have Pinehurst and Siebert in close proximity

That being the case maybe try Cold or nip over the border and hit Pierce?

I've always wondered what the ice fishing would be like at Andrew lake this time of year, it's pretty f$&@#% stellar just after the ice comes off. Wonder if my honey holes would hit still?

I'd say Margret or Namur if you want some privacy.

Blackette, Kinnaird, Jackson, Pinehurst, Siebert, Spencer is nice as there many options to fish put it’s polluted with people on most weekends.

You won't be able to camp on Spencer BTW.

If you go north to Margret lake, don' t forget the hotdogs, the fishing is very slow at best and midwinter even slower. Semoe lake has some lakers as well but nothing over a couple lbs. Can be a miserable lake to fish, at the elavation, it has it's own weather up there. seen minus temp in mid June....

The Lodge at Margrete shut down as the fishing slowed down.

Namur Lake is where i would go, never been there, but seen some great pics.

I might be off base but I think the inference is that fishing is not what it once was..all kidding aside.
