Default Bulk line

Anyone know approx pricing for a spool of mono installed on a reel from wholesale?
Say 8#

They charge 3 cents per yard for trilene XL. Pretty inexpensive.

Im going to throw out 10-20 bucks... shouldnt be anything too crazy if its just trilene or aomething similar. I always get mine done at southsode fishin hole, theyre super good.

Cabelas was offering free line and spooling in their flyer a few weeks ago as part of their 10th Anniversary in Canada.

Based on an average spinning reel - 100-120 yards on the spool - It's going to be closer to $3 - $4 for mono.

Braid - you are closer to $15 (depending on what brand and test).

Runs about half the price of packaged line.

fishing hole for 6# test was $8.00 I think it was around 200 yards that went on.

Thanks all. I was at wholesale but they didn't have anyone to run the machine.....guess I'll go back another day.

Good luck lol, WSS is horribly understaffed. Fishinhole is the only place I would get to put line on.

The cost savings on bulk line is not actually as much as some people think. In some cases it actually costs more.

For example power pro is $24 for 150 yards, $42 for 300 yards or bulk at $15 per 100 yards. So bulk costs $22.50 for 150 yards(savings of $1.5) or $45 for 300 yards($3 more). Where the cost savings comes into play is if you are throwing away leftover line due to your reel size.
