Thanks for kicking it off, Yvan. I too wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Enjoy family, friends, and time off. Share in the festivities, but please don't drink and drive. A taxi or Uber will be the cheapest thing you buy this year and could save a life.

All the best to you too Yvan! I was going to start a "Merry Christmas to my Albertan brothers" thread...but don't need to now!

I hope to be visiting your fair province again this year...waiting to see if WestJet wants to play nice.

Thanks to everyone for making this Ontarian feel welcome here..Alberta is where I'd like to be living one day. This forum, and annual trips out there make me feel a bit closer to the place. Other than the way allot of Albertans drive...it might be the nicest place on earth!

Merry Christmas, and all the best to you and your families!

I often have to make a trip into High River for one single purpose, or just one item that I need to purchase. Of course, I can't leave home without telling Nicole that I'm off into town and give her a kiss good-by, that's just the way it goes. BUT THEN, she says "wait a minute, I have a list". Oh crap, I'm doomed, I should pack a lunch, some snacks, maybe throw in a sleeping bag. But as it turns out in my supposedly short trip into town, I run into a some friends. Well today, I ran into 4 friends in various stores. Oh well!, it's Christmas and I got an opportunity to wish my friends a Merry Christmas and chew the fat with them. That is life in High River, and I wouldn't change it for anything.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours as well Shane. No driving here, perhaps a bit a Christmas cheer. Many logs in the fireplace. For sure, stay off the roads if you can. The snow fall here in the south was absolutely astonishing. Just a few days ago, I pondered over global warming. Then mother nature kicked in and said" Bull....here hold my drink, I'll show you". Heck, I need snow shoes to get around my place. Merry Christmas all, it's gonna be white 4 sure.

A heartfelt wish for a Merry Christmas to the AO community. May the new year bring new outdoor adventures to all. I also hope that Sandy Claws comes through for everyone.
