Default Mac Gregor North camping

Any info on this campground. I looked it up and very little except its first come first serve.

Wondering if it has much shade and it it will be full? Thinking of heading there on Wednesday.
Will call tomorrow just do not want my dogs to suffer in the heat. No AC so need lake to swim.

not much for shade trees , never used to fill up , lots of open areas to camp.

I was there a month ago on a weekend, didnt get full at all

There is minimal shade there,so pups will suffer. If yours are anything like mine, even a cool lake wont be enough to keep them comfortable in this heat

Thanks. I am bring a "silva cool tarp" which is used in treeplanting to keep seedlings cool. It is layered with metallic fabric. Hope that will help us.

My concern is I have no AC in my truck or Trailer

Fairly basic, a camp kitchen, few outhouses. I don't recall seeing a freshwater pump but I wasn't looking very hard. I've never seen it full, but just pull through to use the launch.

If you arrive on Wednesday, you might get a preferred campsite. Good luck!
